What did you say?

On thursday I was putting Belle to sleep for her nap. I still hold her, its cuddle time for me! :) Well she usually has to say a few things to keep herself awake, and then I'll tell her to go to sleep, and then she'll say "Night night". Well, she kept saying something over and over. I was about to tell her to hush and go to sleep, then I realized that she was saying "Love you" (wov ew) I almost started to cry. She has never said love you on her own before! I told her that I love her too! And kissed her and then she fell right to sleep! That is going on my top ten favorite mommy moments!  Just had to share!
Has anything like that happened to you where you were caught off guard with something that made your heart melt?

Wow Esther! That is so adorable. I can see how that would make you want to cry! What a sweet little girl you have.

The other day I started to think about when my daughter was just born and I all of a sudden burst into tears. As soon as I opened my eyes after closing them for five seconds my daughter had her eyebrows all furrowed with her arm out ready to give a hug. I also appreciate her telling me "Kyou" for Thank you. Everyone likes a little gratitude!!

Thanks for sharing your story. You daughter is a sweetie just like you!

That is too cute. Usually when my baby is saying something voluntarily for the first time it's something like "Stop" or "No" or "Don't"
